A year ago, my brother Dmitry and I founded "SamCraft", a small family-run business.
We began producing handmade gift boxes, but day-and-night we were searching for new ideas.
We wanted to produce a unique product and tried to make many kinds of things.
After long hours of brainstorming, we decided to think of what we really want to do.
It was clear that:
1. We want to work with wood and other eco-friendly materials.
2. We want to make art objects as they would give our clients pleasure for years.
3. We want to create something unique, to be unlike the others or what for to start all of this then.
The process of formulating these three concepts helped us to understand that we want to produce 3D pictures of wood.
And we are producing them now!

| Technology There is a number of steps between the idea and its implementation. First of all, the original photograph or image is transformed by the designer into pop art format. Some elements are simplified or changed and the primary colors are determined. Then the image is converted into curves and the future picture is laid out in layers. The manufacturingengineer approves the project of a 3d picture. If there are any problems, the layout is modified. The next step is laser cutting, polishing and painting. The last step is drying. Then all the parts are compiled together and fixed on the basement. That's how we make our 3D pictures! |
